Short answer: the big news at Puy du Fou for 2027 is “Le Rêve de Louis XIV” (“Louis XIV’s Dream”), a new 34-minute show in a purpose-built 1,800-seat theatre (€33 million, the park’s biggest investment), announced for June 2027. The 2027 season starts on Saturday 27 March 2027, and a one-day adult ticket costs €48 online (€35 for a child aged 3 to 11), and from €38 on some “Special Offer” days. Updated on 25 October 2026.

“Le Rêve de Louis XIV”: the 2027 headline act

Revealed on 21 October 2026 at the park’s annual press conference (“La Confidence”), the show takes visitors to the court of Louis XIV. It follows Madeleine, a young dancer whose only dream is to be like Molière. To earn her living she goes to work for Vatel, the king’s cook, and has to outwit the intrigues of the court. Molière, Lully, Fouquet and Le Nôtre cross her path, and the whole show is written in alexandrines, the classic French verse form.
